Default Remington Model 700

Hey guys. I just got a Remington Model 700. It's ablack synthetic bolt action in 30.06. My Grandpa gave it to me. Is htis a good rifle? Any info on itwould be good.

I agree. Which one is it? BDL, ADL? Does it have a hinged floor plate for unloading? Happy Hunting.

One the best bolt actions ever made.Will last you a lifetime and
is probably one of the most accurate and dependable you can have.
That is a good caliber for deer and hope you enjoy it. Mike

bull barrel, standard Barrel????? COme on man ,sow a pic or 2.

YOu are lucky, that is one of the finest out of the box factory rifles built.

It does not have a hinged floorplate...it loads from the top. I love it. i have actually killed probably ten deer with it. Ive been using it for four or five season. He has been carrying my .30-.30 which I also love, its just easier for him to carry around and he likes the iron sites. It seems to be a great rifle, but i wanted your guys opinions. thanks!
