Default Pistol Rest

I have been looking at the steady stix and bipods and such. I am hunting with a Ruger Super Redhawk in .480 Ruger and was wondering if anyone would have a recommendation of a good stable rest For the gun. It needs to be able to fold up, or collapse down, and I don't think I would use it standing up , so the shorter heights might be a more practicle option....

Any help is much appreciated.

WhenI used the TC Encores with 15" barrels I had a day pack on and sat my behind on the ground leaned back into day pack and rested Encore on my knees. I know Stoney Point makes sitting and kneeing by-pod.

Buffalo Arms sells a set of shooting stick's with a leather saddle. I have a set, and they are the berries. Tom.

I got the stoney points with with the kick out for a tripod. Not sure I would recomment it. I had a hard time getting good feel at 100 yards.
