Default Rust Protection

What is some good rust protectant i had mine 22 in a soft case until i read never to store guns in one andi got some rust speckles and my trigger guard is looking rustic insteadblued

I like a product called "Corrosion X" I can leave my colt commander in my truck for months and it doesn't rust. Take 2 pieces of fresh cut scrap steel and treat one with it and the other with oil, let them set outside a few days and compare.

Rem oil will work for most, but for long storage or harsher conditions, Birchwood Casey Sheath.
