I know nothing about that single-shot they make, but would expect it to be "typical" of such guns in that priceclass. That is to say, safe and serviceable, but nothing spectacular.

However, I do know they make a copy of the Winchester Model 92 lever action, and that rifle is tough enough to be chambered for the .454 Casull, and keep on working! That says a whole lot.

I have two of the Rossi matched pairs and they are ok guns for thier price range. I have one set in .223/12 gauge and one in .243/20 guage and both are reasonably accurate. The shotgun is tough to open sometimes if you shoot a couple of hot loads out of it, but with a little force it always opens and keeps working. The stock plastic sites are a freaking joke though and you will want to pick up a hammer extension off from Ebay or wherever else you can find one once you get a scope mounted.
