Default .325 WSM

I am looking at getting a Savage in .325 WSM. I have done a lot of research on this caliber, and it doesn't look like many people like them quite yet. Any thoughts on the caliber?

There's quite a few who like the .325 WSM, but I believe the .338 Win. Mag. would be a better choice, since ammo is more available in .338 than .325.

Either would work fine on elk, I would personally choose the .338 Win.

It is a very good caliber. I have no experience with the Savages though.

Comparing the availability of ammo with a three year old gun to one that has been out for many years isn't even realistic.

The .338 can handle a heavier bullet then the .325WSM can. I owned both the .338 and the .325WSM at one point and have since sold my .338 in favor of the .325WSM.

Less recoil, shorter action, less rifle weight, less overall rifle length, in my opinion it is a great round. I have killed Elk, Bear and Moose with mine so far.

I only wish I could get compensated for making those statements. I wouldn't even want money just ammo would be nice. [8D][8D]
