Default Model 1915 Stevens Favorite questions

Ok, I've had this gun for awhile and I've olny shot it once. Its in perfect condidtion and has been in the family for a long time. Its a Model 1915 .22 LR Stevens Favorite. Does the company still exsist? How much do you think its worth? Any info on this rifle would be greatly appreciated.

That is a great gun. Have had one like it for 55 years. Do not fire high velocity long rifle ammunition in that gun. Doing so will spring the action over time. Not sure what one is worth currently.Savage makes a rifle called the "Stevens Favorite."But it is an el cheapo that has pins instead of screws.Quality is no where near the original.

I agree with Falcon and if you would post some pics we could probably help you figure the value. These Favorites are bringing2 to 6 hundred dollars depending on condition. Regards, Rick.

That looks familiar.

Metal but plate on mine. Really neet little guns. This one came from Dad and he got it from his Mom. Still shoots pretty good. Would like to find an original style tang sight for it.
