Default coyote with a .204

caught this dude crossing our back pasture, ran in, grabbed my little .204 handi rifle, put the crosshairs right between his eyes, and lights out, for a cheap little gun shooting 1-1 1/2" groups @100, just shy of 150 yards, i didn't think this was too bad, i'll take lucky any day[:-]

When I shoot critters with my 204 with 32gr bullet, it usually won't exit at all. Just blows up on impact. Did you see entrance/exit wound. Those eyes are freaky.

yea the eyes are freaky lol did that to a deer once with a head shot at 20 yards with a 30-30, at first appearance it really freaked me out didnt realize a bullet would make the eyes pop out of the sockets.

32gr. v-max, no exit wound but the back of his head, behind his ears , felt like a bag of rocks[:-]and only his left eye popped out, so far i have been able to get my bestgroups with the 32gr. bullets, i have had trouble with the heavier offerings[:@][&o], and now thats its so hot i have let up on my shooting[&o], maybe this fall i can come up with a load for a heavier bullet

I don't know too many people that have got the 40gr to work well, at least from hornady. Some reloaders are doing ok.

I shoot 32gr too. Good job. Looks like a nice coat.
