Default Trigger job

I have a remington 7600 30/06 carbine. I sent my trigger group to Barnes custom gunsmithing over the winter because the Remington triggers are notoriously stiff and lotsa play. I was happy when I got it back, I still notice a slight bit of creep but it breaks like glass now. Anyone else do this with their 7600s?

Default RE: Trigger job

While I don't own any remington semis or pumps,I have worked on a few dozen over the years. virtially all work was trigger jobs or in the case of semis, gas port problems. Is the slight amount actually creep or takeup? If it is creep, that means there is a very small amount of too much sear engagement. I'm glad you will enjoy your 7600 more now.
