Ok Scenario time:
You are walking through the woods in an arctic climate on a backpacking expidition of some sort and all of the sudden a Grizzly crosses your path! What would your weapon of choice be for the said situtation?

If I was just backpacking I'd probably have a Taurus raging bull in 480 ruger. If I was on a hunting trip then whatever I had in my hand, probably a 338 mag.

And when all else fails you only have to out run you companions, not the grizzly.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu a la Royce Gracie (UFC 1-4).

But if I ran into a bear that cross-trains I might be in a bit off trouble.
