Default 700 cdl

Im looking at a 700 CDL in .25-06.. other than the matte finish and no sights ..is there any other difference in it and a standard 700 BDL ?? Thanks in advance for the assitance.

The stocks are different, a CDL has a straight cheek piece and the BDL has a cheek piece and has a glossy finish.

The CDL's are a bit of a throw-back to the older, more classic design, hence the Classic Deluxe nomenclature.

What he said. Plus, the CDL is offered in 10 cartridges, vs. 5 for the BDL. At least according to their web site. You may be able to find some older production on some store's gun rack that might be in a different caliber.

Pick up both, & see which one feels better to you. They should shoot equally well.
