Default help please youth stocks

i bought a stoeger model 2000 for my fiance two years ago and she is having a real hard time with it since the stock is to long. is there ANY place i can buy a youth stock for this gun, or have one made? hers is synthetic right now. any input would be wonderfull. i dont want her to get out of the sport because of having to use equipment thats not right for her(thus making it not as fun).
thanks Jeff S.

I've never heard of a Stoeger youth model, so I kinda doubt they make a youth stock. My wife is small too, 4'11" ("and a half"... she always adds that...) and I bought her a Beretta A303 Youth Model, and it was still a little too big for her, so we took it to a gunsmith and he took some measurements and cut a little of the stock off. Cost about $30, I think, and the gun fits her like a glove now.

I reccomend you measure your wife's length of pull and cut down stock. You can measure by having your wife hold her arm straight out level and bending elbow straight up at exact 90 degrees. From top side of crook of elbow to trigger finger is her ideal length of pull.

You can cut down a synthetic stock within reasonable difference, almost as easy as a wood stock.
