Default Scope Question

Does anyone know the differences between the Swarovski AV line of rifle scope and the PH Series? Besides the difference in the price. I was looking at the specs. and it seems like the AV line has more light transmission. Does this mean the optics of the AV line is better and clearer than the Professional Hunter Series(PH)even though the PH series costs twice as much?

Default RE: Scope Question

If you are referring to the A-line they have 1" tubes while the PF series have 30mm tubes. The PF series also have different springs in the internal assembly that supposedly absorb recoil better.I myself own four 3x10x42 A- line scopes and find them to be very bright clear and dependable. They are brighter than any other 1" scope that I have ever used including some with 50mm objective lenses.
