Default .22-250 Bullet choices

ok im sure this is beaten to death but i dont really know anything about .22-250s, and seeing as how we just got one, i need your help. What kind ofammo would you buy( most accurate) and reloading is not an option. I will mainly be hunting coyotes out to 300 or 350 if i can, so i need something relatively accurate. So whats the best ammo within reason as far as pricing goes?

the gun is a Savage Model 12 BVSS .22-250 if that helps.

another question i had is what grain bullet would work best, 40,50, or 55?

I reccomend you buy 1 box of every kind of ammo in that cartridge that you can find and shoot/test groups. I would guess 50-55 grain bullets would likely be most accurate. Some brands/weights of ammo will shoot better in your rifle than others regardless of price.

Only you can answer that question, buy different brands and bullet weights and see what your gun likes best.

Wow, that would be like a few thousand dollars-good call. TEmbry-just buy a box of 50-55gr varmintammo(v-max, nosler ballistic tips, blitzkings) and see how they shoot at the ranges you'll be hunting. If the first brand doesn't fill the accuracy bill go for the next one and so on.I bet you find a good setup for the gun within the first few boxes. Brett
