Default 300 yard "head shot" with open sights on Future Weapons

It's been over a week since I saw the episode but I feel confident that with a new, Israeli I think, assault rifle the host pulled off a...well, the topic title.

I was impressed.

Anybody else see that? I don't recall at all the model of rifle he had but apparently it's brand spanking new and VERY accurate. Maybe they'll be available to us someday...

Yeah, I imagine that the shooter's clarity of vision is more important than the rifle itself, as long as its a decent rifle like those you typically see in the U.S.,Israel, and assorted NATO countries.

Unless the gun or scope is calculating wind drift and bullet drop I don't see how the gun is going to make you any better at head shot than if you were shooting any off the shelf hunting rifle.

They guy was a seal team sniper so maybe it was the shooter.

Still, that's personallyimpressive to me either way you put it. I can't do it. Yet.
