Default Savage 12 F/TR

Has anybody used the new 12 F/TR Precision Target Rifle?? I know I'm not a Savage guy, but I want a .308 and that Savage looks pretty sweet with the 30" barrel.

Thanks in advance.

jeepkid, I am interested in the 12 F Class Precision Target Rifle chambered in the 6.5x284. I have no idea if they are available yet but will be checking dealers as I am sure it's going to be an order rifle.

There was an FT/R on Gun Broker for $995 in .308. I haven't saw any of the 6.5x.284's yet.

I checked with a couple of distributors today, they have put in orders with Savage and are awaiting them. So time will tell, I dont see a great deal of demand for the 6.5x284 F Class rifle yet so I am going to jump all over one when available.
