Default Hard plastic/Hard rubber stock?

I just got a used Ruger M77 Mark II in .220 swiftand it has a very diffrent stock than I have ever seen. Its almost like a real hard rubber. Its deffinatley not the average synthetic stock. Im pretty sure the gun is a few years old and I was wondering if you guys knew what it was.The gun didnt come with any papers. Thanks.

Default RE: Hard plastic/Hard rubber stock?

Probably a Hogue Overmolded stock. I have one on a 30-06 and actually like it especially when it bumps into stuff like a metal tree stand, no noise.
