Default T/C ProHunter barrel change

Hey guys out of curiosity, when you buy a T/C ProHunter rifle, is there any limit to how you change barrels....i.e. If i buy a 30-06 rifle with a 28 inch barrel can i buy a muzzleload barrel to put on same frame? Or do you have to start with muzzleload rifle and change from there?

Default RE: T/C ProHunter barrel change

I don't think there is a difference between the Prohunter and Encore and if so, no. My Encore frame started out as a pistol...15 inchin30-06. I also have a .223 rifle barrel for it and a 209x50 front stuffer for it. Change back and forth at will. IfNY decides to let my county partake in the rifle option for deer, I am probably going to get a 25-06 or 280 Rem. rifle barrel for it.

No you can start out with any barrel and change to any barrel. Completely versatile.

Just have to change the forearm. The forearm is different for the muzzleloader barrel, meaning it only will fit the muzzy barrel and you need to have the one for rifle barrels to fit rifled barrels.

The frames are all the same and all the barrels fit the same.

There are three different forearms though. One for rifles, one for muzzle loaders, and one for shotgun barrels.
