I understand the Colt Woodsman is back. I have not seen the prices, but I want one!

You can get the ruger 22/45 with adjustable sight for well under $300. It has a polymer frame that I don't usually like on a pistol, but the way a ruger bolt operates within it's reciever, the frame is not exposed to wear. I have never seen a ruger semiauto pistol in good shape that won't shoot/group better than I can shoot. As long as they are kept reasonably clean,an act of congress can't make them jam! The only thing I reccomend you have done to it is lighter trigger.

+1!

I just got a Bass Pro Shops flyer where the Buckmark Camper model is on sale for $249. I absolutely love mine.

I have a S&W 22A and love it. It is easy to handle, accurate (as I can be) and fun to shoot. I have no problem tearing it down to clean it either. I really can't compare it to these other fine pistols because I've never shot them, but I can say I do love my 22A.

Good friend of mine bought a Phoenix HP22 for his daughter (now my sister in law) for 125. Not very accurate, at least, not for me. But seems to be quite reliable as long as you keep it clean.

I've got the S&W and it's a pretty good shooter. I am having problems with it feeding the next round after the the first shot on a full mag. I haven't found what the problem is yet, but loading the mag minus one is working for now. It does shot a nice little group at 25yds that you can cover with a dime off hand.

I like the Ruger. The browning is a nice gun too. You can't wear ut or hurt the Ruger.
