yes. Not sure how good it is at removing copper.
I use it to scrub moly out of my barrels.

Haven't used the bore brite but have used the bore cleaner for many years. When I get a new rifle I clean it with 200 strokes of JB's bore paste before fireing.
I don't use this ever range trip ( use extreme or 50 bmg after a day at the range)but depending on how much I have shot the rifle I clean once or twice a year or when it starts shooting bad with 50 strookes of JB's.The directions are on the jar.I think without going to look that the bore paste is in a white jar with blue letters and the bore bright is in white jar with red lettering.
Have a buddy that shoots handguns a lot and he says that is the best thing he has found for getting stuburncopper out of the barrel.
The 50 bmg is really strong and I think it works great for getting copper out.

Its very safe to use, but messy and you never are sure you got all of it out after using. Definatley use a bore guide to make sure you don't get it in lug resess or chamber.

I've used the JB stuff as well. I use it sparingly, just because it's time consuming and a bit of a mess. When I have excessive copper fouling, I clean the bore with nitro solvent and then use the JB compound on an oil soaked patch. I haven't noticed any damage in any of my rifles, but then again, I'm still using my original little tub of JB.
