Sako TRG-S

I am looking at a Sako TRG-S rifle in 7mm stw does anyone have one of these rifles or know anything about them how do they shoot? any help would be appreciated thanks chad

Ive never herd of a Sako TRG-S. I have a TRG-42 in .338 Laupua Mag. It shoots great. A little on the heavy side but it take a bunch of the recoil away. I wish i could get out and shoot ti more. It like long ranges and the range around here is only 200 yards.

I believe it is the same action as the venerable TRG 21 and 42. Still has the hammer forged barrel. But it is not near as expensive. Don't know what the diff is.

Also has anyone used the Leupold 1 pc. Sako scope mounts ? if so are they any good chad

Really i have no clue what mounts i have on it. Actually i never really payed too much attention to the scope either. I know its a Leupold scope thats bout it. I took the gun to my gunsmitha dn said i need a scope and mounts and he got me the best he had. Ive used the Leupold mounts on other gun and they were good mounts.
