Default AR-15 and 300meter battle zero

I got to shoot my AR this weekend. And confused by thier settings for the sights. I put in the numbers in my infinity program of 62grremington FMJ bullet, 3000fps velocity, 25meter zero, 2.5" site height, and numbers don't make much sense. I am zero at 25meters, 5.5" high at 100meters, 6.7" high at 200meters and -2.14" at 300meters. I thought max battlefield zero was hitting a 9" target. Which I realize this fits the criteria. I just would thought you would want max bullet flight to be like +5", and min flight to 300 meter to be -5". That would be like a 28meter zero.

The Amry instructs "Center Mass" shooting. According to your own ballistics chart, that is exactly what you have, a "Center Mass" zero out to 300 meters, on a human size target.
