Citori Decision

I'm buying a new citori and have norrowed it down to two choices. I was ready to buy a 525 sporting when I came across the second choice. It is a brand new 425 Sporting "Millenium", 1 of 500 made.

Both guns fit me well and seem very similar. THe 525 has a palm swell, which I could take or leave. It also comes with extended choke tubes & the 425 does not. The "millenium" engraving is kind of interesting.

Both are approximately $2250, and as I said both fit me well. Which should I get?

I have a 525 Sporting 32" ported and a 525 field grade 28" and love both of them. My sporting came with a full set of chokes. Cyl,imp cyl, skeet, light mod, mod, impmod, and full. If you buy the midas grade ext chokes at $60 a pop you are talking about another couple of hundred bucks. Other than that I would say get the one that feels better. I don't believe in the #xxx of #xxx meaning anything. You have to find the right person to get to get the right money for it if you ever sell it, most people like me don't care...I just want it to shoot and feel good. Is the gun priced up due to that ###??? I'm not familiar with the 425 so it may very well be worth and compare to the same of a 525sport. Someone else may be able to elaborate.I don't think anyonewill ever go wrong buying a browning shotgun. They all shoot good!
