Remington Model 788 308 that I inherited from my grandfather. It has never been worked on but shoots remarkably well with the loads I put through it.

At the present my most accurate rifle is a Winchester Model 70 heavy barrel in 22-250. I won't get into group sizes since so many people post such wild claims on the net I now tend to believe about 10% of what I read.

Even though I own and love Remington's,my most accurate rifle is a Savage 116 HVY barrel 7mm-08 with a Jewell trigger set at 8oz. This is also my 600 plus yard woodchuck gun. A 5 shot groups at 100 yards will cover it a with a nickel...

Mine is a Rem. 40x chambered in 222mag. With the handloads I worked up I can shoot half inch groups at 200 yards. That is on a cement bench shooting off of a Bald eagle rest.

My most accurate would be a toss up between a DPMS panther and a browning eurobolt with bossCR. The browning is factory original and I got it at a real good deal from a retail store I was working at adn will easily shoot under 1" at 100 yards, generally its in there under .75" with federal premium 100gr SPBT .243 ammo. My DPMS is the 24" heavy bull barrel, with all the bells and whistels, lots of money sunk into it was a thumbhole wood and 6-24 B&L elite 3200 scope on it. It will shoot good handloads into .75-1" groups at 200 yards for 5 shot groups and on a real calm day will shoot in the 3.5-4" range for 5 shots at 400 yards but average is in the 4.5-5.5" range. I can shoot out the center of a clay pigeon almost every time. This is off concrete rest with bull bag, barely touching the gun.

My most accurate rifle is a Mauser actioned 6mm/284 with a 26" medium-weight Douglas premium grade barrel and Leupold 7.5X scope. On a number of occasions, it has shot five Sierra 100 grain bullets through the same ragged hole at 100 yards. This rifle was built in 1964, and still shoots as well as ever, but has not been fired more than 750 shots.

Keep yore powder dry!!
