They are very close but for game bigger than deer, give me the 35 Remington every time.

Basically the same ballistics, the 35 will buck the wind better and push through light brush better than the 30-30.

I have both and either one works great though with the .35 I shoot a 200 grain bullet and it seems to work good on large hogs.
