Default winchester model 70 w/scope

ok today i went back to good ol' wally world and saw a model 70 synthetic, 270 wsm with a scope for just $400! there was no one at the counter so i didn't get to hold it. it was a real nice gun.

The scope is probably crap but for that price you can hardly go wrong! The 270 WSM is a good caliber though. Good luck.

I would stay away from anything that has WSM or WSSM on it. Just my opinion.
10 years from now you wont find any ammo for it. I guarrantee it.

Unless you buy and save brass. You'll only need primers, caps and powder (which aren't going out of style). The scope is a throw-away but is enough to get you through a season or tow. I think I might bite on this one.

The 270 WSM and 300 WSM are outstanding seller's, no question about it. Both of those cartridges are here to stay.

Ya but I only know one person in my circle that reloads, 99% of hunters dont reload.

If any of them have a chance it is those two calibers, they still dont do as well as others. Its a chance if you buy even those calibers.
It probably doesnt matter for the handloader, but for those who dont reload I would stay clear of them.
Just my opinion.
