Default Tikka and Savage shooters

If you shoot a Tikka or savage show me some groups from a unmodified rifle
I keep hearing how good they shoot strait out of the box.
or if you have a factory un moded holepuncher let me see them too!

When posting the pics from photobucket, you need to get rid of everything after the .jpg. ?t=1168884794 needs to be deleted from the first picture.

There is your first picture.

Savage Model 12 .308 510 yards.

cma, its funny you should post that, considering that is pretty close to what i have seen savages do. They can sure shoot minute of pie plate, at 100 yards, though.

#40 fan : thanks for the info on posting pics.
What load and bullet are you shooting in the savagemodel 12?
I tried some sierra 155 gr the other day and they shot a one holer(3 shot group) at 100 and .9 inch at 300 yds.Was useing max load of varget.
I have one in 22/250 and still haven't found what it likes yet, have a 22/250 in a rem sps and it will shoot one hole groups at 100 and has shot some groups less than an inch at 300.
I am going to bed the savage 12 when I get around to it and see if it helps it.
Below is a group shot at 300 yds with a savage muzzleloader.

I don't have picture's but just bought a Tikka .270 WSM last friday and it does shoot real well ! Sighted it in at 100 easily . I had groups at 100 and even 200 similar to above (several touching and maybe one just a hair off)! With a fancy rifle vise my buddy had............I got a best group at 200 yards with 4 touching !

But I couldn't do much at 300 yards (lucky to hit the target)!! I guess I need to practice more......I think the gun and bullets are fine !! Just some pilot error ! [8D]
