Default Bushnell Red Dot?

I originally posted this question on the Optics forum, but not too many people go there!
Anyway, I have a new Bushnell Red Dot that I am not using, does anyone know how well it will old up on a .44 mag revolver?

not sure about the bushnell. Are you talking bout one of the little ones like the sportsman or one of the "military" grade scopes like one of the trophy or halo styles? we used a sportsman and a BSA 50mm on a DE .50cal and it didnt work at all. Way to much recoil for the little guys. Mind you this was a 50cal not .44 and depending on barrel length/recoil you may have better luck.

I have a bushnell trophy with the 4 different dot config. and I had this on a muzzleloader and it held up well with that.

Buck,
this is probably the same one that I have. Since the recoil of a revolver is different than that of a long gun, I am just not sure how it will hold up on a revolver!?
