Beretta Golden Snipe 12ga...

I can buy this gun from a friend for $750.00 and it is in perfect condition. He said he's only shot a dozen shells through it. The gun has been in his family for many years and was given to his father brand new as a gift but he never shot it once. What are your guys thoughts on the gun/price?

One of my buddies has one in a 20 gauge. Used but not abused. I once offered him $1,000 for it (seriously) and he just laughed.
