Got a new gun today ,,its a 243 ultra,harrrington and richardson with the light colored wood with dark wood grain,,checkering on the stock and forearm ,leather sling with a 3x 9x 50 simmons,,,bull barrel,,,super nice gun ,,a guy i work with won it in a dice game from some crack head i guess ,,$125.00 bucks..i jumped all over it ...it should be an awsome coyote and staydog gun. reckon its hot...

good possibility, not your tipical crack head gun. i ordered a h&r .308 survivor synthetic with a bbl yesterday. i can't wait to get it in. i've heard lots of good about them

I have that rifle and it is a pretty good truck gun. It shoots around 1" moa at 100 yards with factory rounds. I can get much better with my reloads. I have a nikon proo-staff on it , I use it for my daughter to deer hunt and she can shoot it better then me.

I would suggest taking it to the police department and having them run the serial number. If it is, in fact stolen, it would be best to find out now. If you were to get pulled over with it in your vehicle, and they run the number and it comes back stolen, you will be in hot water up to your neck. I'm not saying go in and tell them the whole story, just that you wanted to make sure it was OK. JMHO
