I have a New England Firearms Survivor in .223. Good gun, not a Ruger #1 or a T/C, but for $240 you can't complain.I am looking to sell it to help fund another project. NEF and H&R.are basiclly the same company. NEF's are called handi-rifles and H&R's are called ultra's. Both owned by Marlin.

For the price you can't beat them. We have a little .223 and for a cheap little gun it shoots great. I've shot crows with it at 200 yards.

I have the H&R ultra slug gun and am happy with it. You can even have the factory do a trigger job if you want to order one. I suppose a gunsmith could do it as well.
