Tikka T3 Lite 270 wsm best load???? Help...

Hello everyone, As you can tell, I'm new here and need some help finding the best bullet formy Tikka 270wsm. Let me know what you shoot and how it groups for you. It doesn't matter if it's factory ammo or handloads.

Well, 19 people thought this was an interesting subject and wanted to view the responses but no one has any information on the subject matter? Does no one shoot a Tikka 270 wsm?

First and foremost, welcome to the board. As to your question, while I personally do not own a Tikka (wish I did), my advice to you would be to purchase a few different boxes of quality ammo and head out to the range. Remember something, what works for someone elses rifle may not work for yours & vice versa. I had a similar situation with my A-bolt and ended up going with the not so popular Federal Fusions. Just gotta take a shot in the dark and pick a couple loads and try 'em. Each gun has it's own pet load it'll shoot best. Your gun may have a different pet load than another of the same model and chambering. Just gotta shoot and see.

I have the same gun and the winchester supreme 140 accubonds and 130 ballistic silvertips both shot great under an inch at 100. As for hand loads havn't got the chance to play around withthemyet but will soon. You should be happy with the gun though I am a diehard rem 700 fan but sure do like my tikka good shooter and very light good luck

welcome aboard, try posting this question in the reloading forum. Some of them snobs down there dont venture out too often (we dont let them out)

i have a 7mm tikka llite stainless, I absolutely love me gun and it performs like a dream. like the hp's the best. But then again, i have a different gun. but my tikka loves the hps.

I have an A-bolt in 270WSM and have tried Barnes XLC's in 130grn, Nos BT's in 130 and 110 grain Vmax plus 150grn Wincheser factory PSP's(given to me)and all shot 1" or under. I tried different powders with the reloads and everythinggrouped great. Seemed like Reloader 19 worked the best for me.
