Default shipping a muzzleloader?

Do I need to do anything special to ship a black powder rifle?

Nope... just make sure that the box has no markings on it indicating what the contents are.

The post office does not scan for firearms? I don't want it to be confiscated.

Muzzleloaders are considered safe the way that I understand it. I dont believe that you can ship powder with it though.
