Santa is building me a long range doe culling rifle, a SS 6.5x284 , probably wont be done for a couple of months though. Here is a piece of wood I had laying around and decided to use for the stock.

Not for christmas, but my dad gave me a winchester 9410 lever action .410 at Thanksgiving. He got two when they first came out a few years ago and one was just sitting in the box never fired. I guess he figured it would do more good with me than sitting in a box in his closet.

I took it out of the box, cleaned it and hung it on my gun rack. Still haven't had a chance to shoot it yet though. Maybe this week. I haven't shot a 410 since I was little kid, I'm kind of looking forward to it.

Santa brought me a Ruger M77 Compact Stainless Laminate in .243 and a Nikon 4.5x14x40 silver scope.

Went shooting yesterday and it is sweet.....and it looks great too.

It is all sighted in and ready for action on Tuesday.
