Franchi I-12 comfortech? or not?

Thinking about buying a franchi I 12 very soon, but have heard rumors of them getting benellis comfortech

is this rumor, or should i go ahead

Can you afford a benelli? I recently bought my 1st benelli(legacy) and finally figured what all the ruckus is about. It shoots GREAT!!!
I rather doubt if the comfortech is going to "filter" down to the franchi line.
