Winchester 37-A 12gauge barrel

guy i work with had one and the barrel ruptured firing a slug and he needs to find another barrel. i cannot find anything about ordering a barrel for him though.

have him try gunpart/numrich arms or maybe brownells - form time to time they have stuff like that in inventory

The old 37 is scarce anymore...thats a hard way to learn that a full choke and a slug don't get along.

How far back did it shred?
A good gunsmithmight be able to salvage it and maybe even add a RemChoke system.

Ihave had a 37a youth in .410 since I was 4...brings back memories every time I hear the #37

I havent saw it myself but he deamed it as "totaled" and lesson learned the hard way, he's lucky he didnt get hurt.
