Default Thomson Center Question

I am looking at purchasing a Thomson Center Encore in 7mm-08. My question is with this cartridge, what barrel length would be best, the 24in or the 26in. Just wondering if the 7mm-08 has enough powder capacity to take advantage of the 26in Barrel. Looking for any feedback on this, and thanks in advance......

Default RE: Thomson Center Question

24 in is plenty. Heck, wack off two inches to 22and recrown if you want. Make for a very nice handling weapon. JMTC
