Default Need a Gunsmith

Think I am in need of a gunsmith. My Stevens 411 (By Baikal) is shooting both barrels about 1x every 25 shells. Still not positive that it is gun, seems to happen on shots I rush to bring gun up to shoulder -- none so far on shots where I have gun firmly in shoulder. Any way, have heard that double barrels can have a week sheer pin that causes this.

So, can I take this to any good gunsmith and they will be able to fix? What should I look for ina good gunsmith?
What is something like this likely to cost?

Thanks!

Default RE: Need a Gunsmith

Assuming you are reasonably sure it is a gun problem and not a operator problem, I would recommend sending it back to Thy Maker. They should fix problems like that, even long after the purchase, at minimal charge. Having a gunsmith fix it, at a minimum, is going tocost more than the postage to send it back to Stevens.
