I have been fighting this disire to get a Remington 700 VLS for two years and can't shake it, I have an encore in 22-250 and a Stevens in 223 but it doesn't matter, I just feel I need this gun. Does anybody else feel this way about guns or should I spend the money of therapy?
Buddy, I have been in that same predicament many, many, times, all you can think about is the gun, you imagine yourself drilling a big bull elk with it, you fantasize about shooting it at the range, heck, you may even have a dream about it, but, when you buy the gun, the excitement only builds, and then, after you finally get to shoot her at the range, you see that, she is going to be a keeper. Buy the gun, crime, just do it, you won't regret it.
No point in fighting it with regard to the VLS. I recently bought one in .308 and it's a helluva rifle, asaccurate as you're gonna find in a factory gun.
Wow, CMA, have you been trying to agree with me lately? Because you are doing a good job of it. The VLS, is a great rifle, and very accurate, I saw a guy shooting one in 6mm Rem, he had a 5 shot group of less than 1/4". The stock was also very nice.
My grand parents bought me a BB gun when I was six. I was hooked for life. If anything it gets worse.
My sister would not alllow her kids to have even toy guns as kids. So I did what any uncle would do, I bought my nephew a bb gun when he was 6 for Christmas. He's 20 years old now, his dads a fisherman but he is a hunter, he got his first deer this year . woo hooo.
