Bore Foam
Does anyone else besides me use this to clean guns? If so please tell me your technique for keeping it from running onto the bolt.

Some people, though, like myself, have them more than the average person.[&:]

RE: Bore Foam
I place a Sinclair bore guide into the chamber when I'm using a foaming cleaner, like Wipeout. The Sinclair bore guide has an O-ring which seals the chamber, thus keeping the foam out of the action and stock. I place a paper towel or old rag underneath the rearof the bore guide to catch the little bit of foam that comes out there.

That Ultra Kleenz stuff is the best I have seen.
Just take the bolt out, and squirt it from chamber to muzzle (like the back of the can says...).
Works better than scrubbing with a cleaning rod.

RE: Bore Foam
I've noticed the foam cleaner I use, does a lot better job on copper fouling than any solvent.

RE: Bore Foam
I have been having problems with the foam getting into the chamber, and then leaking back into the bolt, this is a pain in the a$$. And there is nothing I can do about it, it seems.

RE: Bore Foam
But, that is good, because that means there isn't any in the chamber anymore, because it has all leaked out.
