depends on what you want it for. you can get a powerline 880 with 665fps(pellets) i can drive pellets through pumpkins at 20-30yds
for $70 and its dovetailed so you can a scope for whatever you want to pay. or you could by a package that has a scope with it. mine came with a scope. the scope is a daisy 4x15. so far my greatest accurrate shat has ben about 60-70yds. or you could buy a gamo.(go with the powerline) people may brag about their gamos but phhh. ive had my powerline for 2 yrs. and its not dissapointed me yet.

It depends on what you want to do with it. I would look around and get a break over barrel model instead of one you have to pump up. You can spend as much as you want to on one. the one I bought was around $350 and will shoot around 1200 FPS. It works great for squirrels. As far as the scope make sure you get one made for air rifles otherwise they might not hold up as well.
