Default Stock ?

Is there any difference between the stocks of Remington model 700 and the model 7 such as length?

Default RE: Stock ?

I would think they are different. I never see aftermarket stocks listed as fitting both guns. I always see them listed separately.

And, if you look at a 700 SA and a Model 7 side-by-side, they are different. The Model 7 has a shorter reciever and shorter bolt.

The model 7 are shorter guns then the 700's. The stocks are a bit shorter and have a slightly smaller contour.
