Default sighting in question

My .270 ballistic chart is for the Winchester Accu-Bond 140 grain is

yds inches
100 0
150 -0.9
200 -3.1
250 -6.6
300 -11.5

If I sight in for 3 inches high at 100 yards will this put me at 0 for 200 yards

well 1" at 100 yds amounts to 2" change in the POI at 200, so if you sight in 1.5" high at 100 that will bring POI at 200 up 3". start there and double check you could have a lil more but most probably a lil less velocity and your scope could be a lil more or less above the barrel than the test gun.

If you adjust the scope to change the point of impact by3MOA which is 3"at 100 yards, the point of impact at 200 yards will also change by 3 MOA which amounts to 6" at 200 yards. Therefore ,you should be 2.9" high at 200 yards(-3.1" + 6").
