Default Shooting steel shells

Is there a problem shooting steel with a full choke barrel? I have a Remington 870 Wingmaster Super Magnum with a 28 inch ribbed full choke barrel. It is not bored and does not specify to steel on barrel. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Should work ok. I shoot alot of steel in my 870 but I use a modified choke. Never had any problem bringing down birds. What shells are you using?

Try the Winchester Drylocks 3" in a number 2 or the Remington Nitros 3" also in a number 2

The #2 will have better penetration and break the wings better than the #4. I've seen #4 bounce right off their wings if there not in very close.
