Default Rem 7600 - 308 to 7mm-08

Can you switch out a 7600 .308 barrel with a 7mm-08 barrel without much difficulty.......assuming you can find a 7mm-08 barrel? Any ideas where to get a 7mm-08 barrel that will fit a 7600?

I've found a couple of 7600's in 7mm-08 at GunBroaker, etc, but they are VERY Expensive in the $800-$900+ range.

I figure that if it is doable, you should be able to pick up a doner 7600 .308 and then put a decent 7mm-08 barrel on it.

Thanks

The 7600 can be rebarreled to 7mm-08 Most good gunsmiths should be able to do the job.
