Default Accu-Trigger ?

Is the accu-trigger that comes in the savage a two stage trigger? I found that I like two stage triggers and was wondering if the accu-trigger is a two stage trigger can they be bought for most any gun?

What are other folks opinion on two stage?

I love the trigger in my 7.5x55 Swiss. I wish I could have it in all my guns.

Thanks

Tom

Well I guess in a way its a two stage trigger but nothing like the Military two stage triggers as they are short and crisp. It works kind of like a Glock trigger. The inner trigger must be depressed in order to pull the hair trigger part. Mine came set at about 2 1/2 lbs. They take a bit of getting used to but will spoil the H out of you.

Is there a way to get a military style two stage trigger into a modern bolt action rifle? Do you think I might like the accu-trigger better than whats in my K31? Can you buy accu-triggers and add them to any gun?

Thanks

Tom

I have not seeen the accu trigger for sale but can't say that they are not available. I am sure that someone makes a two stage trigger as an aftermarket item. The accu-trigger takes a little getting used to. At least it did for me. However I love it now.

I don't like glock triggers but that is because after depressing the "lawyer bar" it feels hard to pull and squishy. If it was really light and crisp I might like it.

Has anyone here that has ever shot a K31 Swiss 7.5x55 rifle know of an after market trigger that gives the same feel on a bolt action rifle. I love this trigger and if I found an after market that matches it I would slowly convert all my rifles to this system.

I'm just glad someone out there doesn't like the accutrigger! Cause it would be bad for all the other gun makers to go out of buisness all because of a little trigger! I just wish all my rifles had the accutrigger, I'd never stop smiling.
