im lookin for a shotgun around 1000- 1300 dollars, that has the easiest recoil for someone with a shoulder problem. im lookin for 20 g. ill be using it for pheasent quail and very little duck. my 12 ga brownin a5 beats my sholder up. what gun?
Beretta, hands down!! The gas system makes it easy on the body. I shoot a 12ga up to 3 inch with no problem. The new system is even better and try the Limb Saver pad. That should be the ticket.

Any gas operated 20 gauge auto would have relatively light recoil...The Beretta is an excellent choice and the Remington 1100 or 11-87 is another model that would work well for you..
Just avoid recoil operated autos like the Browning A-5 ( long recoil operated) or the Benelli ( short recoil operated) and fixed breech guns like pumps and doubles..
