Default Cross bolt safty. Does it effect value ?

I notice that when a older model lever gun is up for sale one of the features always listed is"PRE CROSS BOLT SAFTY". My question isdoes a cross bolt safty effect the resale value of the rifle in a negativeway compared to an older model pre cross bolt rifle of similarcondition? tim

Default RE: Cross bolt safty. Does it effect value ?

It shouldn't effect anything, though some people prefer a rifle without the crossbolt. If its a pre-64 Model 94, it will be worth more money depending on condition.
