I"™m not sure about the Bueler but I have a set of Conetrol rings and bases on my Sako and find they set the scope nice and low compared to the Optilock system. I had to do some work in setting them on the rifle but once there on, they look real sharp without any mounting screws on the rings. The Control system is not a design you would want to take off and put back on to often...

I have no experience with Buehlers, but I have a set of Conetrols on one of my Sako 75's. I like the Conetrols a lot and echo what trailer had to say about them. They can be a pain in the rear end to set the rings up, but once set up properly they are rock solid. If you go with Conetrols, make sure you get the bases up far enough on the rifle's integral dovetails. To do this you need to tap them on with a hammer and small block of wood.

Sako bases and optiloc rings.....you will never damage your expensive scope. Regards, Rick.
