Default GUN HELP PLEASE

I need some help. I am looking to buy a single shot 12 ga. with a rifled barrel that a scope can be mounted on for my girlfriend to hunt with. Wondering what a good cheap model would be that way if she dont like the whole thing Im not losing alot in it. Thanks

H&R would probably be your best bet.

What your girlfriend might not like is the recoil of a single shot 12 guage shotgun. I had one many years ago and it kicked harderthan my 10 guage (SP-10 Magnum) semi-auto shotgun does.

You oughta try a 10 Ga NEF Pardner, it has "decent" recoil

Caldoc, makes a good point.
I piced up a used Rem. 1100 semi-auto and bought a Hastings Rifled barrel for it. It shoots sabot sluggs really well and the recoil is very manageable (in my view).
