Scope mounting clearance???

Hello
Will I have trouble mounting a scope with a 50mm Obejective lens using medium height rings on a Model 70 Classic? Will medium heightput it up high enough?

You'll need high rings for the 50MM.

they make super highs too if you want to put flip up scope covers on, you may need the supers, you may just need the highs. Id take the gun and scope to a shop that can let you try different ones.
